Understandable and practically adaptable analytics software
We make analysis software understandable and accessible. We provide a practical and adaptable solution, based on a hands-on and personal approach. We are the interpreter-translator between software supplier and end user and not only give advice but also play an important role in the execution of activities and training both during and after the implementation.

Job description
Our teams consist of a combination of analytics consultants with a technical background and consultants with practical experience as a planner. Together we work on varied implementation projects of supply chain planning software. We work with different software packages, the similarity is that the software always contains a mathematical optimization module.
Our projects are very varied and contain all phases of an implementation project, such as process design, data analysis and configuration, but also design and development of dashboards via key-user functionalities. You are also involved in testing the delivered software and giving presentations and training. Very important is the focus on the added value for the end user and a user-friendly applicable software solution.
You have
- a completed master's degree in mathematical engineering, econometrics, computer science or a comparable studie with an emphasis on operations research (OR) and data science applications
- experience in building mathematical models, you are familiar with machine learning techniques and you are able to code (preferably object-oriented), for example, Java, C++, Python or R.
- a passion for applying advanced analytics methods and making them understandable for end users who do not have technical knowledge.
- an interest in performing tasks during an implementation project such as giving training of presentations. We are looking for "all-rounders" for this position.
You are
- able to work independently on the execution of the various tasks of a consultancy project and to perform supporting tasks with regard to the development and delivery of training courses and change management.
- willing to work at multiple locations: Our office is in IJsselstein (near Utrecht), but we often work at our customers site a few days a month (offices in the EU). Working remote is possible for up to 40% of your working time.
- in possession of strong communication skills
- able to communicate fluently in Dutch and English (speaking and writing skills).
- available for 24-40 hours a week

Introduction (informal) by phone
As soon as we have received your details, we will contact you within a week to schedule an digital interview. Based on the introductory meeting, we decide whether we will invite you for a job interview.
Job interview
The interview will take place at our office in IJsselstein (Utrecht) and consists of a formal part, including the implementation of a business case and an introduction to the ACTLytics team.
Business case during the job interview
We expect a short preparation for the business case. There is an opportunity to ask questions during the job interview. Then there is a short time to make some final adjustments and then you present the results. The case aims to give you insight into the daily work and gives us the opportunity to assess whether you have the right knowledge and skills.
