Business Consultant Analytics
Understandable and practically applicable analytics software

We help companies in getting better results by making processes data-driven and applying them in practice. We make analytics and supply chain planning software understandable and practically applicable, based on a hands-on and personal approach. We are the bridge between software supplier and end user and do not only give advice but also play an important role in the execution of activities and training both during and after the implementation.
Job description
As one of our business consultants, you will be in direct contact with customers contributing to the successful implementation of analytics or supply chain planning software. Because of you the mathematical possibilities are unlocked and the end-user can work with a solution that fits the customer-specific situation in the best way. Your focus on the added value for the end-user and a user-friendly applicable software solution is key to the success.
You will be working on varying projects for different customers, where the projects are content-wise diversified too. Our projects contain all phases of an implementation project, such as process design, data analysis and configuration, but also design and development of dashboards via key-user functionalities. You are also involved in testing the delivered software and giving presentations and training. You will be part of a team consisting of a combination of analytics consultants with a technical background and consultants with practical experience as a planner.
Who are you?
- You have a master's degree in mathematical engineering, econometrics, computer science or similar with an emphasis on Operations Research.
- You have 0-3 years of experience as consultant or a similar role.
- You are experienced in building mathematical models, you are familiar with Operations Research techniques and you can code in an object oriented language like JAVA, C++, Python, AIMMS or similar.
- You are passionate to apply mathematical methods and to make them understandable for end users who do not have the technical knowledge
- You would like to play an executional role in implementation projects and would like to lead training and presentations.
- You are willing to work at our office in IJsselstein and at our customers for multiple days a month (within EU).
- You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing skills).
- You are available for 24-40 hours a week.

- Your gross monthly salary will be between € 2.900 and € 3.750 depending on experience.

Introduction (informal) by phone
As soon as we have received your details, we will contact you within a week to schedule an digital interview. Based on the introductory meeting, we decide whether we will invite you for a job interview.
Job interview
The interview will take place at our office in IJsselstein (Utrecht) and consists of a formal part, including the implementation of a business case and an introduction to the ACTLytics team.
Business case during the job interview
We expect a short preparation for the business case. There is an opportunity to ask questions during the job interview. Then there is a short time to make some final adjustments and then you present the results. The case aims to give you insight into the daily work and gives us the opportunity to assess whether you have the right knowledge and skills.
